What we collect
- Account details (name, email). Payment information is handled by Stripe — we don't store card numbers.
- Uploaded resumes and any career history you provide via the AI interview
- Job descriptions or links you paste in for tailoring
- Generated resumes, cover letters, and saved versions
- Basic usage data (pages visited, feature usage) for improving the Service
How we use it
- To extract skills and generate tailored resumes and cover letters
- To improve matching quality (see below — aggregated, anonymised only)
- To process payments and manage your account
- To communicate service updates, billing notices, and (if opted in) marketing
AI processing & the Skills Relationship Graph
Your resume and interview content is processed by AI to extract and tailor content. Anonymised, aggregated patterns (not your personal identifying data) may contribute to an internal Skills Relationship Graph used to improve suggestions across all users. Your individual resume content is never shared with other users.
Data sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers necessary to run ElevateCV (e.g. Stripe for payments, cloud hosting)
- Authorities where required by law
Data retention
We retain your resume and account data for as long as your account is active, plus 30 days after account closure, unless you request earlier deletion.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act (and GDPR/CCPA where applicable), you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting [support email].
