ElevateCV ("we", "us", "our") is operated by [legal entity name / ABN]. These Terms govern your use of the ElevateCV website and service (the "Service").

2. The Service

ElevateCV uses AI to help you build, tailor, and manage resumes and cover letters based on information you provide, including uploaded resumes, career history you share through our interview feature, and job descriptions you paste in for tailoring.

3. Pricing & billing

ElevateCV uses pay-per-download pricing: creating a profile, running the AI interview, and building resumes within the app is free. A charge of $1 USD applies each time you download or export a finished resume, processed via Stripe.

Prices may be shown in your local currency via Stripe's currency conversion; the AUD price is the authoritative figure.
Each download charge is a one-off transaction — there is no subscription, recurring fee, or auto-renewal.
Re-downloading a resume you've already paid for is free — you're only charged once per resume.
No refunds are issued once a download is processed, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the resume content, career history, and any documents you upload or generate.
By uploading a resume or completing the interview, you grant us a licence to process that content solely to provide the Service (e.g. skill extraction, resume generation, storage).
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

5. AI-generated content

Resumes, cover letters, and skill matches produced by ElevateCV are AI-generated based on your input. See our AI Disclaimer for full detail — in short, you're responsible for reviewing all output before use.

6. Referral program

When you refer a friend to ElevateCV and they sign up, you receive 5 free resume download credits. Credits are applied automatically upon the referred user's registration and carry no monetary value. Credits are non-transferable and expire if your account is closed.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory application content, or to misrepresent qualifications you do not hold.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time; since there is no subscription, no cancellation or billing period applies.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ElevateCV is not liable for employment outcomes, interview results, or decisions made by employers based on documents generated through the Service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
